Description

Take on the spirit of the dragon with a customized resin masquerade mask. Perfect for Halloween, Masquerade parties, Renaissance Faires, or other fanciful festivities! This listing is for a “solid color” style mask, and allows for up to one (1) face color and one (1) horn color. Dual color masks are also available here.

These dragon masks are cast from an original Dovah Design sculpt, making them a truly unique mask you will find nowhere else! Masks are rigid and lightweight, cast using SmoothOn Onyx resin, metal powder, acrylic paint, and clear enamel topcoat. Masks are durable and safe to wear outdoors, even in inclement weather.

Each mask is handmade-to-order in your choice of solid color(s) and finish (see descriptions below). A foam nose pad is affixed to the inside between the eye openings. Mask sits comfortably on your nose without touching any other part of your face. Secures behind the head with soft leather lace in brown or black to match your selected colors.

Simply select your desired “face,” “horn,” and “highlight” colors, as well as desired clear topcoat to order. Descriptions for each option are listed below under “Mask Styles Explained” Please refer to colors using the color chips shown in the product photos. Color and finish selections are REQUIRED to begin creation of your mask! On every style and color I will hand-detail your mask with highlights using acrylic paint to really make your selected style and colors pop. Highlights can be omitted upon request.

~ ~ Dragon Mask Styles Explained ~ ~

Solid Color Options:

Choice of one (1) solid face color and one (1) solid horn color from options listed. Dragon face and horns can be different colors, but are each only one, solid color (no fading, gradients, etc).

Highlight Options:

Default Highlights: By default, I will “highlight” the dragon face (nose, eyes, forehead, horns) with your selected face color.

Contrasting Highlights: I can highlight the face with your selected horn color for a contrasting pop. I highly recommended this option on any “Onyx” or “Jet” face color mask — It makes the face very striking!

No Highlights: I can omit hand painted highlights upon request for a solid/flat look to the dragon mask face.

Topcoat Options:

Each mask is sealed with a clear enamel topcoat to preserve hand painted details. You can choose from a Matte, Satin, or Gloss topcoat.

Matte will slightly mute the reflective metal powders for a soft “glowing” look. Also creates a “flat black” look over “Onyx”.

Satin is a semi-shiny smooth topcoat, hardly noticeable as a finish and best for preserving the original look of the cast metal powders.

Gloss produces a very shiny, almost “wet” look.
